Meet 11 day old Payton:
So sweet and so tiny, I had the pleasure of meeting this precious little gal on her 11th day of life. Payton was one of my smallest babies to photograph in my studio. Although Payton was a tiny little thing, she was one very strong, very fiesty little gal! Sleep was definitely not a part of her game plan for the day. I actually was a bit worried that Miss Payton was not going let me capture some gorgeous pictures of her this day, but with a lot of patience we finally coaxed her into going to sleep and I was able to capture her precious newborn days. It was a long day, but worth every single minute especially knowing this day will forever be treasured by Payton’s family.
It was an exciting day for sure for Payton and her family. Not only was she getting gorgeous pictures taken, her family was in town visiting from miles and miles away and I found out during her session…her family is Canadian and they were preparing a Thanksgiving feast for her when she got home. It was Thanksgiving Day in Canada. How special the day ended up being when I thought we weren’t going to be able to capture the images Payton’s family had hoped for. Not only was this family very patient, they came to me on a very important day in their lives…celebrating family and life. They truly have a lot to be thankful for and I’m so honored to have been able to spend some time with this wonderful family on this special Thanksgiving Day.
The newborn age is so fleeting, it passes by like a blink of an eye. There is not a large window of opportunity to capture this very special time. It means a lot to me knowing how important remembering this precious time in Payton’s life was to her family, that they spent their Thanksgiving Day in my studio patiently awaiting those memories to be captured. I know they will treasure the images of their beautiful baby girl forever and I will forever remember this family and how important it was to them that they document this time in their lives. Congratulations to this amazing family and I hope you and your family all had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner together!
