Meet 15 day old Scarlett:
I am extremely honored Scarlett’s family drove 2 hours to get to my studio. I really had no idea they lived that far from me and when they told me how long their drive was (without traffic) I felt humbled they thought that much of my work to travel so far from home. They not only traveled with 15 day old Scarlett…but her 4 year old big brother came along too. Both Scarlett and her brother were such a pleasure to work with. At first I thought Scarlett wasn’t going to be sleeping much because she had such a long nap before her session but she was such a sleepy gal and just so, so much fun to snuggle with. She was one of the happiness newborns I’ve ever photographed too….I got SO many pictures of her smiling. She smiled so many times it was making me laugh. I absolutely LOVE her name. I adore names that you don’t hear too often. Just like her name, Scarlett was as pretty as she can be. I can tell she is so loved by her family – they were all glowing with happiness. Her brother gave me the biggest smile when I asked him if he liked his new baby sister. How wonderful and exciting it must be for him to have a little sister to take care of….and to tease too of course, haha! I know these two will be the very best of friends for life. Seeing how much love he has for his sister just melted my heart. Such an amazing family. I truly enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them all. Again, the hardest part about specializing in newborns for me is the bond that I create in such a short time with these families is so wonderful only to not be able to see them again after they leave my studio. I really love when clients email me updates and send me pictures of their families. I LOVE watching these little ones grow…even if only by email. Of course, I love it even more when families come back to me again when the next baby has arrived. I’ve always got my fingers crossed for those days 🙂
Congratulations to this new family of 4!
